The Kit is Just 25% to 30% of the Total Cost

PWS has had a LOT of experience designing, making and installing steel buildings, and we have found that each of the 4 main parts of the installation will cost roughly 25% of the total. With typical kits, you only pay the ¼ that’s for the building steel, delivered to your driveway or lot.

Who Does the Rest of the Work to Make a Building?

After you purchase a kit building, you are on your own. You have two real options for installing a steel building kit:

1. Do it yourself: if you are one of those rare people who knows foundation engineering, concrete installation, electricity, and so forth, you might succeed in installing your own building properly. The time and tools it takes are extra, of course.
2. Be a contractor: Get the permits, find the subs, organize the project, and get people to show up on time. Then, inspect their work (or hire someone to do it).
